I have known Robin since way back in the days before he was a husband and a dad. I was honored when he told me that he and his wife wanted me to update some family photos for them. They came into town from a little place just outside of Denver to catch up with old friends and experience a Texas summer, and squeeze in a family photo op. Our plans to head over to the Botanical Gardens where he met his beautiful bride were thwarted with traffic and concerts this particular evening, so we detoured over to the Trinity to catch the magical golden hour of summer. Our pics took twice as long as normal in order to play catch up and I was amazed at how well his kiddos did considering all the time we took. Your family is precious and I hope I gave you exactly what you wanted...

Drake Sneaks

Here he is again, Mr. Smiley. This was the shortest full session even with the driving we did. He was just on the day we shot. It was an overcast morning with a little sun peeking through at times, which made for a gorgeous setting. We went to an old standby and favorite of mine for summer just due to the tree cover which helps control the bright direct summer sun in Texas. Here are just a few of his lovely photos. I hope you like them! Next time we meet he will be having his cake smash for his one year! Cant believe it.

Red White and Blue Mini Session... cousins

Beautiful Family, precious children. Enjoyed snapping a few of these kids the other day. They did so good and we were able to get them done without me making them pose too long. Of course my favorites are the candids but all are just too sweet! Hope yall enjoy!

Miss Kylie Roo turns TWO

Happy Birthday cutie. This little girl is one sassy thing. I literally chased her around trying to get a picture of her. Momma, now I know what keeps you in such good shape. ha ha. Love this little girl. Thanks for always trusting me to capture her in all her Kylie-isms. This little thing cracks me up!

 

 

 

 

Juliet 6 month sneaks

This is my 3rd session with this sweet baby girl. I love watching her grow. What a blessing for me to get to watch! I cant get over how much she has grown. God is good.

 

 

Jaxton turns One!

Our sweet Baby Ryder is here

Just wanted to share our joy.
Ryder Carson Burchfield was born Thursday, April 10th at 12:51 via planned c-section
He weighed in at 8lbs and 4oz and was 21 1/2 inches long
We are resting and recovering at home and expect to begin taking a few appointments at the end of May or beginning of June.

Baby Juliet is 3 months

You may remember this beautiful newborn just three short months ago. Her parents are so in love with her, and rightfully so. They purchased baby's first year in photos and this was our first session since she is now 3 months. I cannot get over these eyelashes, they are amazing. I am so excited to watch her grow. This family is so comfortable in front of the camera which makes capturing some amazing candid moments. Check them out!

Kristin never had bridal portraits taken. And although she has been married for a little while and even has a baby I encouraged her that it is never too late to take these important pictures in your dress. A lot less stressful too! Here are a few more that I edited tonight...

Jason 2014 Senior Sneaks

This senior is one well rounded gentleman. After dabbling in many sports, Jason got into golf his sophomore year and became a great golfer in just a short amount of time. He has lettered in both golf and academics, which definitely makes his mom one proud lady.
Jason has plans to attend MSU in Witchita Falls, which will be nice for his family since it is just a short distance away.
Jason, although not excited about spending a big chunk of his Saturday taking pictures, was a very good sport. His mom runs in many circles that mix with our family, she works at my daughter's high school and my husband coaches her younger son. So a couple of months ago she asked me about taking senior pictures for her oldest son.
We got our schedules worked out and here are just a few of the finished products. His book should arrive in a few weeks as well and I will definitely have to post some pictures of that too.

Jason was a good sport for this idea his mom saw and wanted to recreate. I love it. Great for a little laugh!
