Kristin never had bridal portraits taken. And although she has been married for a little while and even has a baby I encouraged her that it is never too late to take these important pictures in your dress. A lot less stressful too! Here are a few more that I edited tonight...

Jason 2014 Senior Sneaks

This senior is one well rounded gentleman. After dabbling in many sports, Jason got into golf his sophomore year and became a great golfer in just a short amount of time. He has lettered in both golf and academics, which definitely makes his mom one proud lady.
Jason has plans to attend MSU in Witchita Falls, which will be nice for his family since it is just a short distance away.
Jason, although not excited about spending a big chunk of his Saturday taking pictures, was a very good sport. His mom runs in many circles that mix with our family, she works at my daughter's high school and my husband coaches her younger son. So a couple of months ago she asked me about taking senior pictures for her oldest son.
We got our schedules worked out and here are just a few of the finished products. His book should arrive in a few weeks as well and I will definitely have to post some pictures of that too.

Jason was a good sport for this idea his mom saw and wanted to recreate. I love it. Great for a little laugh!

Deaver Family

I love getting to see clients that have turned into friends and watch their families as they grow! You may remember their maternity photos, or even Baby Jax' newborn pictures about 6 months ago. (If not click the session name to check them out.)
It was time to mark another milestone in this family's lives. They are some photogenic people. Loved that they got creative with me today! I always like doing some different things in a shoot! Check out this fun family picture below!

Baby Dilan

Thank heaven for little girls. Dilan Ann was born nearly a month ago now to some precious friends of ours. In fact her daddy was one of our groomsmen in our wedding! We were anxiously awaiting her arrival and I have been excited to give them some beautiful pictures.
Cortney and Mark, congratulations on your tiny, sweet, beautiful, baby girl.

Drake 6 month sneaks

I had two special sessions this weekend. One is captured below in a few of the images I took and the other will come soon. Both babies are part of the baby's first year package and I love love love watching them grow!
Both are also first babies for these precious families and I am so enjoying watching both families change!
Drake was born 6 months ago and is always a happy little boy.
I enjoyed taking his picture and flirting with him! Such a sweet face.

Beautiful Taylour

 I had no intentions of doing any more shoots until the new year after the busy Christmas rush I had. Although I was feeling extremely blessed to stay so busy this season, it took my pregnant body a long time to re-cooperate after crouching down and getting up for several weeks straight. Then, a sweet friend of mine from church called me up a week ago to ask me about pricing for her niece.
It was a pretty quick need as this sweet girl has some exciting things coming up in her future. Apparently she is needing portfolio pictures to send to a dance company in New Orleans for a possible spot in this company. Well, how could this mom of a dancer say no?
The weather has hardly been cooperative lately. But there is a deadline for these pictures to be completed so we braved this yucky, misty, cold and went downtown for her session.
Not only is this girl a beauty, her little personality is super cute to boot.
I am so excited to hear about how well she does and I hope these pictures are just what she wanted!

Drake/ 3month sneak peeks

 

You might remember Baby Drake form his newborn pics. He was little Harry Potter just three short months ago in his newborn session. My how he has changed and grown in such a short time. I am particularly fond of any baby who smiles at me. :) That just kind of melts my heart. This little guy is easy going. He let me hold him and smiled, cooed, and gurgled all morning. He made it very easy to capture some great images. Cant wait to see him in three more months at his 6 month session. (His parents purchased Baby's First Year Package)

So we will follow Drake as he grows. Stay tuned!

 

 

 

 

Van Zandt Family Sneaks

I always love meeting new clients, but I could tell it was going to be great day when they introduced their son Hudson to me! I thought to myself, well they definitely have great taste. This little guy will be four in a few short weeks and they wanted some birthday boy shots and family shots as well. H loved his sister B, and could hardly take his eyes off of her, which I loved capturing. What a sweet big brother!
I had taken some time off to get our school year started and then I was under the weather, so I was pleased to have such a sweet family to photograph as I ease my way back in!
This family has been patient as I have been trying to find locations with the heat and sunlight beginning to change this time of year. It was a special find to take them to the VanZandt Cottage which ended up being a relation to them!! That was simply by accident!
I hope you guys enjoy these sneaks as much I do! Your family is so very precious and I look forward to taking more pictures for you in the future.

Back to School Minis
