Mattie... take 1

My little sister is having her 2nd baby. It's a boy, Baby Knox (I love that name!)
We had pictures scheduled Saturday and it rained, which made everything a little too wet and muddy.
So we tried again yesterday. It was just she and I. Her first born, Rhett, was not feeling well, and her hubs had plans, so we just went out to get a few of just her and catch that perfect evening sunlight. We will be taking more with the whole family but I couldnt help but share her. Here is my sweet little sister...

I love you sister! Cant wait to take pics of the whole family.

Kylie Turns One!

I love when people come back for more photo sessions. It makes me so happy to see how children have grown and lives have changed, I love to be a small part of their lives and watch God's map unfold. Recently this little one's momma made the big move to stay at home momma. I am so happy for she and her family. Kylie has a big moment coming up soon. She is hitting that first year milestone. Baby K Sneaks

You may remember this family when I blogged his newborn pictures. (hint: click on newborn pictures to see prior session with Baby K)
Baby K is 3 months old and is growing quickly! He is such a calm little guy too.
This family is blessed for sure. We had to wake him up from a nap and change him a few times. Most babies would have screamed the whole time, but not him. Oh yes he expressed his displeasure, but always recovered quickly. He is a momma's boy for sure right now. He couldnt take his eyes off of her the whole session. I love that. Looking forward to capturing all of Kyle's milestone moments this year. Thanks for entrusting me with this year of firsts guys!

Crystal Maternity Sneaks

I love meeting new clients. Crystal and I have been talking on the phone and by email, so I was excited to finally have the pleasure of meeting she and her family face to face. This beautiful Mama-to-be is one busy girl. She is the real Supergirl! She is a teacher, wife, and step-mom to one very well behaved and beautiful little almost 4 year old. On top of it all she is working on her Master's Degree while juggling some crazy pregnancy induced medical concerns.

She was gracious enough to trust my judgment and meet me at 7am for her maternity session to catch that beautiful early morning sunlight. It definitely paid off! I was able to catch some sweet moments with this family. Here are just a few!

Bluebonnet Test Sessions

Just wanted to share some sweet pictures of my daughter and my nephew Rhett in the bluebonnets I hope to use for our 4/20 minis in the bluebonnets. (I am also doing mommy and me sessions that same day) and by the way. I have a few time slots left!

Krieg Newborn Sneaks

This girl already knows how to accessorize! When her momma arrived at our session I was so excited to look through all the little girl cutesies. Bows, ruffled diaper covers, and pink and purple knick knacks are just some of the things that put my eyes into sensory overload! We had fun dressing this sleepy and calm baby girl into all of her fun little get-ups. Big sis "E" was also a ham and loved being in front of the camera. Baby "B"... thanks for letting us dress you up in so many fun ways!

This beautiful family welcomed their first child a few weeks ago. He is doing remarkably well, and wow what a good sleeper! I was suppose to take his momma's maternity pictures but he surprised us all by making his debut VERY early. Now he is here and melting hearts everywhere he goes. This Aggie family is precious! Parris Family

The weather was beautiful when we met to shoot for this family session. The Parris family has a High School Senior and an almost 2 year old! Their gap even beats my 12 year gap between my oldest and middle child. This session was an extended family set so I got to meet all kinds of family members and snap some special moments with this precious bunch. Sweet Sweet Zoey

I think I made a new friend today! A while back I challenged many of you to go like us on facebook. As we were starting out we were trying to reach the magical number of 100! Once we reached our goal, I did a random drawing and chose a winner of a family session. Today I got to meet the winner Keri Johnson and her daughter, my newest little pal, Zoey. She melted my heart right from the beginning when we met and she wanted to hold my hand to cross the street. (SIGH) She was full of energy and personality and big smiles as we shot at several different locations. She really melted my heart when I asked her to look away from me at her mom and the shot and the look in that moment was one of my favorites from the day. Oh and check out these eyes. Future heart-breaker here! Keri and Zoey, welcome to the Honey B Family! I hope to take more pictures of your family in the future. You guys ROCK!

Senior Shelbi

This girl is such a natural beauty with confidence and a real sense of self. She and her sweet friends got a good laugh as I was forgetful fred today. At one point we went across the street to a different location shoot and just left my tripod. When I say cross the the street did I mention four lane traffic downtown. Yep, I did that. All in all it was a good day. The weather was perfect and Shelbi was blessed to have her dream car pull up and offer to let her take some pictures with it (after some coaxing from her friends. LOL) Shelbi, I hope you enjoy these pictures! You are such a beauty and I enjoyed our eventful day. ;)
