Little M sneaks and Rhett's 2nd Birthday Party

Saturday was a busy one. Had 3 appointments and only 2 sessions due to a last minute cancellation. Did my last mini for Valentines with sweet little M and then finished with some fun pics of my nephew's 2nd birthday party. I was suppose to take pics at the photo booth but the cooler weather kept everyone inside so I just took a few at the photo booth and since nobody else got in the booth I took pics of the creative party décor that my sister threw for little Rhett! Here are a few of the session and the event!

Grey Sneaks

Kristin is the owner of Deepntheheartdesigns I worked with her years ago when we both worked at the Stockyards Hotel Restaurant. I worked there when I went back to school to finish my degree. Recently our neighbor noticed that she was a friend of mine on Facebook and told me she had gone into her place of business for a job. What a small world! I contacted her to see if she would do some crochet designs and she was also wanting some pictures of her new little one and precious little brother. Not only were these sweet kiddos happy and content, but they were at ease in front of the camera and made my job very easy. I could have taken their pictures all day! I hope you enjoy these as much as I am enjoying them! Thanks for trusting me to take their pictures. And bare with me. I usually don't do this many sneaks but I am so in love with these shots I cant make up my mind which ones to show!

Aguilar Family

This weekend I had the privilege of taking the Aguilar Family's picture. They are part of the church family we belong to and Traci also works at the school that my husband teaches and coaches at. We had the boys over a lot last summer and they are the just as full of personality in person as they are in their pictures. Hope you like them John, Traci and boys!

New Props and my little man

A friend of mine crochets the most beautiful things for all ages, she can do anything I have asked for thus far. So I propositioned her about doing a bunch of knit hats for me for newborn and toddler shoots. She has done quite a few that have not debuted thus far, but when she sent this owl over to me today, my little Maddox saw and it and kept saying "hat, hat" "peez" (hat hat please, for those of you that may be out of practice in toddler speak) So when he put it on of course I went and got my camera, sat him in the grass in my own front yard, and started shooting. The most amazing thing about her is that she did this from a picture as she did for the other ones she crocheted for me. It is really quite remarkable. I opened a board on pinterest and pinned things I like and she just made them! So... Kristin from deepntheheartdesigns, this post is for you. I don't think we could have found a better model. Although I may be a little biased. Those cheeks are just about as edible as cheeks can be. All Hart!

We moved to the west side of Fort Worth when I was 8 months pregnant with Maddox. It was a busy time of year. The end of the school year for our oldest daughter and of course my husband and I both being teachers meant, well, chaos! :) The Hart Family was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood. They are our neighbors and friends. The weather was a little iffy on Saturday and I was not sure if we were going to get to do the session at all this weekend. Luckily it held up and I am so glad it did. I think we got so many amazing shots of this family. These pictures ooze Hart. Hart Family, I hope you enjoy these! Beautiful Bailey

Bailey is a beautiful freshman in high school. She is also my two boys' favorite friend of my daughter for many reasons. The biggest being her heart! Bailey, I hope you like these.

nothing like sister love

I had the privilege of taking pictures of a past student of mine and her little sister. I had her in kindergarten last year and since I have moved schools the hardest part has been not seeing my kids from previous years! So when her mom called me and scheduled her pictures I was so excited. These two girls remind me soooo much of my older sister Mindy and myself. Even their personalities are similar to the way we were. C and R are beautiful and they kept me giggling. They loved to be silly and they clearly love each other! Here is sweet big sis Miss "C"

The End... I just got started?!!!!

Its already the end of 2012 and although my journey as Honey B Photos is just beginning it has been an exciting prelude of things to come. Thank you for trusting me to capture your special moments in time. Looking forward to all that 2013 holds for this creative outlet for me! Here is a look not so far back of a few unforgettable photos for me. Not always a creative thought out shot, sometimes just the emotion that shows in a photo.

I will be in Saginaw January 5th (weather permitting) at an outdoor location. Have a few openings left. Only have a few minis open for January too. Here are my own kids minis (our trial run) More props to come, didnt want to give it all away. :) The boys were difficult all morning. I think it is hardest to take pics of my own kids. They were all over the place as soon as we arrived at the set location and I still had to set up. I let them run around a bit to get use to the cold and the location. It just didnt work today, they are tired of being stuck inside. By the end of the session Maddox (my youngest, 18 months) kept running away, fell, and bloodied his nose. Poor little guy. We are a walking comedy skit anywhere we go due to the boys being so close in age. 19 months to be exact. Thank goodness for my 14 year old. She really helps me and the hubs out a lot! I wouldnt change a thing as hard as it can be at times. We are so blessed. Somehow, I managed to get a few good shots with all the energy the kids had today Take a look..
